Stream Restoration

Representatives from Pearlstone and the Baltimore American Indian Center gathered to celebrate the restoration of the Tëmakwehane Stream. Tëmakwehane (pronounced tuh-MAH-kway-HAH-nay) means Beaver Creek in the Lenape language. The stream used to be an unnamed branch of the Patapsco River, but was named by the two centers and recently restored.
