Tribute to Dr. King

Rabbi Gordon Fuller, president of the Jewish Federation of Howard County, and a crowd of guests attended “A Day of Service” in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 16. Howard County executive Calvin Ball also hosted Maryland Lt. Gov.-elect Aruna Miller to the event at the Howard County Food Bank, which included a tour of the facilities. “Every year, I look forward to the opportunity to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King,” said Ball. “A Day of Service reminds us that the importance of serving our neighbors in need doesn’t take a day off. Howard County’s strength is in our commitment to serving those in need, protecting the vulnerable and advocating for justice.”
