Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who served in the position from 2006-09, visited the area in October to speak at a Jewish National Fund-USA donor appreciation event at Grey Rock Mansion in Pikesville. Author of “Searching for Peace: A Memoir of Israel,” Olmert also spoke about how as former mayor of Jerusalem, he worked to improve the city’s infrastructure, education and welfare systems. Pictured is Olmert (center) with Lou Narrow, JNF-USA’s Maryland chair of major gifts, and Maryland board president Nanci Seff.
