Beth Tfiloh Community Theatre’s final performance of “42nd Street” is taking place this evening at 7 p.m. at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School.

This is the BTCT’s third performance of “42nd Street,” a musical comedy. The previous shows were on Aug. 1 and 3. The musical is based on the 1933 film of the same name. It tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, an innocent young actress who arrives in The Big Apple to audition for a great Broadway spectacle.

Fans of Broadway are sure to be in for a rousing time, as the show promises a host of talented young tap dancers and other performers breathing new life into classic tunes such as “We’re in the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway” and “Shuffle Off To Buffalo.”

Never miss a story.
