On Tuesday, members of the Baltimore Jewish community gathered at Beth Tfiloh Congregation for an event in support of Israel. The evening’s program was sponsored by The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, the Baltimore Board of Rabbis and the local synagogue community. There were speeches, songs and prayers, including by Rabbi Rachel Sabath Beit-Halachmi of Har Sinai-Oheb Shalom Congregation, who spoke about her own experience making aliyah and how how friends in Israel have been affected by the attacks. Cantor Yoni Rose, a former Israel Defense Forces soldier, sang a prayer for the IDF.
