Rabbi Rachel Sabath Beit-Halachmi, Har Sinai-Oheb Shalom Congregation’s rabbi, taught at an international conference for Jewish leaders in Israel. The conference is part of the Nahum Goldmann Fellowship, which is a project of the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture. Beit-Halachmi taught sessions on leadership, the relationship between the U.S. and Israel and what ancient Jewish texts have to say about gender and identity.
