On April 1, Ronald M. Smullian of Baltimore at 88. He is survived by brother Harold (Barrie) Smullian; nephews and nieces Neil and Jennifer Smullian and Andrew and Allie Smullian; great-nephews Jaren and Chase Smullian; and great-niece Olivia Smullian. He was predeceased by his wives Sara Smullian (née Cohen) and Marilyn Smullian (née Buckner) and parents Mary and Ernest Smullian. He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business; University of Maryland School of Law, and served in the U.S. Army. He was both an attorney and CPA. He had a distinguished 43-year career with the federal government. He was a philanthropist and an active member of the Jewish community, specifically Ner Tamid, Beth Tifiloh and Beth Jacob congregations.
