On Sept. 17, Joan L. Cohen (née Levy) of Annapolis at 84. She is survived by children Jay (Melanie) Cohen of Culpepper, Va. and Robin (Gary) Hall of Sterling, Va.; grandchildren Benjamin Hall (Kaydia Kentish-Hall), Andrew (Rich) Vielma-Hall, Justin (Michelle) Cohen, Morgan Brown and Regan (Nick) Brady; great-grandchildren Wally Hall, Declan Cohen and Cavin Cohen; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Wally Cohen and sister Helen (Sam) Frank. She enjoyed her chavurah, mahjong and large group of friends. Her life’s joy was her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
