Jan. 7, Dr. Alvin Cohn, of Catonsville, at 87. He is survived by wife Sara Cohn; children Meredith Cohn (and husband Doug Beizer) and Felicia Cohn (and husband John Carlson); and grandchildren Matilda Beizer, Amanda Carlson and Colin Carlson. He was predeceased by sister Jeanette Goldfarb and parents Myrtle and Nathan Cohn. He loved not only his family but most everyone he met. He was always adopting neighborhood children and thought the best of everyone. A long-time criminology professor and consultant, he was not shy about offering lessons and opinions.
