On Jan. 8, Ellen Davis (née Friedman) of Baltimore at 81. Mother of Scott Davis and Eileen Stein; mother-in-law of Sam Stein; grandmother of Jacob (Jake) Stein; sister of Julian (Jules) Friedman and daughter of the late Sylvia and Nathan Friedman. She is also survived by many friends.
