On April 26, Lois Macht (née Kleiman) of Baltimore at 94. She is survived by children Carol Macht (Dr. Sheldon Lerman), Amy Macht (George Grose), Robert (Pamela) Macht and Jane Macht (Thomas Mason); grandchildren Daniel (Dana) Lerman, Sarah Lerman (Mitchell Kominsky), Eloise Grose (David Gillpatrick), Madeleine (Kevin) McCloskey, Sofia Macht, Tony Macht, Emily Mason, Isabel Mason and David Mason; great-grandchildren Adelaide, Lillie and Waverly Lerman, Leonardo and Rafaela Kominsky, Cameran Gillpatrick, Georgia and Ruthie McCloskey; and niece Ellen Brown Nathan. She was predeceased by husband Philip Macht and parents Rose and Joseph Kleiman. She was married for 62 years to Philip who almost matched her in intellectual passion, scrabble and bridge acumen. Together they raised four children, traveled extensively, participated in community politics and started a treasured 70-year tradition of multigenerational Sunday night dinners. She derived great joy from her family, lifelong girlfriends, art, house and garden and philosophical conversations.
