On Feb. 11, Paula Scherr (née Bronfein) of Pikesville at 96. She is survived by children Sharron Rose (Jay Weidner), Barbara (Frank) Goldenberg, Brian Beckenheimer, Cindy (Joshua) Hiller and Adam (Alison) Scherr; by grandchildren Ari Weiner (Gracy Ramirez-Weiner), Brett (Lauren) Goldenberg, Amy (Matthew) Linde, Justin (Corbin) Beckenheimer, Kaila Jorgenson (Jeffrey Erlich), Eric Hiller, Dr. Marc (Danielle) Hiller, Alec (Bethany) Hiller, Sam Scherr and James Scherr; and great-grandchildren Arianna Ramirez-Weiner, Amelia Ramirez-Weiner, Lexx Goldenberg-Donahue, Izzy Goldenberg, Dylan Goldenberg, Lia Linde, Jace Linde, Lila Beckenheimer, Avery Beckenheimer, Finn Jorgenson, Aiden Erlich, Olivia Hiller, Mei Hiller and August Hiller. She was predeceased by husband Walter Scherr; brother Arthur Bronfein, and parents Blanche and Leon Bronfein. She was the most loving, nurturing, supportive mother anyone could have. The essence of what it means to be a Jewish mother, bubby, great-bubby and friend. She was awesome. When you told her you loved her, she would tell you, “I love you more”.
