REINHART

On March 15, Joseph Harry Reinhart of Owings Mills at 96. Husband of the late Sonya Rita (née Benjamin) Reinhart; father of Frank Ronald Reinhart and Marcia Gale Reinhart Sachs; father-in-law of Nanci (née Poland) Reinhart and Steven Sachs; brother of the late Louis Reinhart, Mary Marsh and Irene Dolgoff; brother-in-law of the late Ruth (née Manus) Reinhart, Selma (née Losinsky) Benjamin, Jack Dolgoff and William Benjamin; grandfather of Alan and Lauren (née Shapiro) Sachs, Danielle Reinhart and David Sachs; and great-grandfather of Asher, Meirav, Avital and Itai Sachs. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, locally and in various other states. He was in the Navy at the age of 17 and was a veteran of World War II. By trade he was a welder, but rose to the rank of supervisor at Martin Marietta, teaching a whole new generation of welders along the way. He was the patriarch of the family and our “rock”. He was a consummate Mr. Fixit and well into his 90s was still building small structures, repairing plumbing and electrical in his own home and for his children and grandchildren.
