Feb. 6
Go, Girl, Go program Information Session
Learn about GoGirlGo, a program presented in partnership by the JCC of Greater Baltimore and LifeBridge Health. The GoGirlGo program, created by the Women’s Sports Foundation, features weekly themed discussions about a variety of important topics for young women. The program is designed for girls between the ages of 11 and 13. It will cover topics like nutrition, difficult feelings, confidence-building and more. The information session will take place from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Weinberg Park Heights JCC at 5700 Park Heights Ave. in Baltimore.

Mitzvah Mutts
Reluctant or shy readers are invited to visit the Jewish Library of Baltimore for their Mitzvah Mutts reading party! This free event is for kids ages 5 and older to practice reading aloud to family-friendly dogs. The event is scheduled to take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the library, located at 5708 Park Heights Ave. in Baltimore.

Introduction to ASL
In recognition of February as Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month, the Macks Center for Jewish Connections is offering a virtual introductory class to American Sign Language (ASL). Classes will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., teaching basic vocabulary, grammar and conversational skills, as well as introducing participants to Deaf culture and community. New Year, Healthy Living, Better Choices
Take part in a seven-week virtual class learning about pain and fatigue management, medication management, dealing with depression, healthy eating, working with health-care providers, goal-setting and problem-solving. Attendees who attend all six classes will be entered in a drawing for a $10 Target gift card (five gift cards will be awarded randomly to those who complete the survey). Wednesday’s class will run from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Register online for attendance information.

‘CATS’ presented by Beth Tfiloh High School
Support Beth Tfiloh High School and their students as they perform “CATS,” the musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats” by T.S. Eliot. The show will run for three nights at Mintzes Theater at 3300 Old Court Road in Baltimore.

Jewish History Project Opening Reception
Enjoy live music and hear meaningful local stories by attending the Howard County Jewish History Project at HCC. The event will open for viewing at 6 p.m. with light refreshments available in the lobby. Musical performances and live stories will begin at 7 p.m. Due to limited space, registration is required. This event will take place at the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College at 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia.

Feb. 23
grappling with and understanding Secondary Infertility
Learn about secondary infertility through a discussion offered by a specialist in reproductive psychology, Dr. Julie Bindeman. This free event will take place virtually on JCS Baltimore’s Facebook page at noon. Secondary infertility is the inability to conceive or carry a baby to term after previously giving birth. Attendees are encouraged to submit their questions to Bindeman by Feb. 15.
