On Sept. 4, Rose Jackson at 88. Sister of the late Jean Brown, the late Pearl Gordon, the late Naomi (Bobbi) Wise, the late Ruth Longchamps, the late Aida Colein and Zelda (Tiny) Arbuckle; a cousin and aunt to many nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend. She was predeceased by parents Fanny and Louis Jackson. She worked as a visiting nurse and a hospital case manager after moving to the Baltimore area, and following her retirement, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She loved both sports and the arts, had a huge heart, an enduring optimism and her very own sense of humor, as well as an irrepressible joie de vivre and was ever hungry to savor all that was good.
