She was predeceased by husband Raymond and sisters Gertrude Friedman and Lillian Bunkin. She and her husband were longtime members of Temple Adas Shalom, the Harford Jewish Center in Havre de Grace. Through the congregation, she participated in its Women’s League’s philanthropic work, including its Hadassah chapter. Her hospitality, graciousness and kindness became the foundation for her charitable service, cherished friendships and devotion to her family. Her friendships withstood the impact of time and distance, and she communicated with friends until her illness prevented it. For those who knew her, it wouldn’t surprise them to learn that she maintained a friendship spanning 86 years. Her generosity and kind-heartedness were not only notable toward friends and family, but also to those in need. Her favorite hobby was floral gardening. When family came to visit, they could always count on a trip to the garden center to pick up needed supplies or to help her in the gardens.

Contributions may be sent to the general fund of Temple Adas Shalom, the Harford Jewish Center, 8 North Earlton Road, Ext, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
