On April 10, Eric “Rick” Michael Chaiet of Gaithersburg at 54. He is survived by parents Melvin and Anna Chaiet and Joyce and Steve Solomon; siblings Wendy (Wayne) Kivitz, John (Sam) Pearce, Lisa (Todd) Mohink and Sara Solomon (Jacquie Smyth); nephews Zak Kivitz, Griffin Kivitz, Max Pearce and Calvin Pearce; and Smudge, Rick’s lovable rescue dog. He was a kind and affectionate man, loved by all who knew him, humans and pets alike. He will be missed by all.
